Mission
The mission of Enlighten Bilingual Preschool is to provide young children opportunities to learn and grow in a bilingual, bi-cultural, natural and developmentally appropriate, play-based STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) environment that celebrates the integration of mind, body, and spirit as the cornerstone of success in our global society.
About Us
Enlighten Bilingual Preschool, an English-Mandarin bilingual program, was founded by Hui Shen, Principal and Pedagogical Leader in 2017. With the support of a few families living in the Cambrian neighborhood of San Jose, California, the school was designed to meet the needs of families in San Jose/Los Gatos and the surrounding Bay Area communities who were committed to growing an innovative, high quality, early childhood program.
Enlighten Bilingual Preschool is a demonstration site for the Outdoor Classroom Project (OCP).
