Environment
The Enlighten Preschool De Anza campus is a beautiful facility built in 2016. It has tow buildings with seven classrooms, serving chilren age 18 months through 5 years old. The program utilizes its spacious outdoor playgrounds as an integral part of our classroom philosophy of alowing chilren to play and explore their interests, both indoors and outdoors.
The indoor classrooms are designed to honor the child by creating aesthetically pleasing environments where the child is valued as a capable learner. Materials are selected and presented in a manner that builds relationships between children, and between children and educators.
The beautiful outdoor settings give the children many opportunities to learn and grow as they work on problem solving, develop both fine and gross motor skills, and creative expression and exploration. Staff continuously make changes and enrich the outdoor environment and activities following children's interests and needs.
